š Enjoy the Journey
Taking a deep breath! Itās beautiful outside. I went from still wearing my winter coat last week, to now considering putting on shorts. Considering, I said, Iām not stupid. No one needs to see my pale legs that havenāt seen the sun in a million months. Youāre going to have to wait. Itās called patience. Which I have none of. Still learning patience. I thought by now Iād have it mastered. But nope, itās like Iāve never heard of it and the idea of waiting is still new to me.
We all had patience growing up, we just didn't know it. Like with a T.V. show, let's say The Brady Bunch, you had to wait each week for a new episode. But now with social media, 24 hour news channels, and streaming services where you can binge an entire series in one night, patience is almost an unnecessary virtue. I could binge the entire Brady Bunch series today if I wanted, but unfortunately Iām not eight years old anymore and smoking a cigarette while watching The Brady Bunch just feels wrong, and kind of pathetic honestly.
I will say that Iām kinda loving the way Apple TV+ is doing it old school and only releasing one episode of a series per week. Maybe the only connection to the past, where the whole world has to wait and experience it together and gives you something to look forward to. Looking forward to something is really the best part. Iām sure if they were to do a study, and scan our brains on Christmas Eve versus Christmas morning, the dopamine levels would be off the charts! Which reminds me of the famous quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson;
Itās so true. So 2025, if you could do me a solid, and stop rushing the destination and let us all get back to enjoying the journey. What else is on the journey? Let's get into itā¦
Useless Thoughts
GYWNETH PALTROW says sheās āsick of the Paleo Diet and now eats a little pasta.ā And to that I say, same! Not the Paleo Diet part, but eating pasta. Can't imagine my life without it. I love you pasta. You're my best friend!
Did you watch 60 Minutes about AI and robots and how they will have the same capabilities as humans and more in about ten years (watch here). I wonder what weāll all be doing? I guess smelling the roses? But with climate change, and our obsession with killing the earth, will there even be any roses left to smell? We should all probably quickly smell them today. Speaking of roses, I just saw a bee in a flower, covered in pollen, looking like Al Pacino in Scarface. I love you bees, almost as much as pasta!
RIP POPE FRANCIS! What a sweet, humble Pope! Almost irreplaceable. Haven't watched the movie Conclave yet, but Iāve heard thatās what everyone should do, if youāre interested in the process of picking a new Pope. I sorta am, but also Iām guessing in ten years the Pope could be a robot Pope soā¦
DEMI MOORE named People Magazineās Worldās Most Beautiful! Love it! Love her! Donāt love the fact that sheās bought a bunch of new heads over the years. Getting the title after buying your face is kinda cheating, don't you think? Itās like an athlete being rewarded for winning while taking steroids. And no, Iām not going to pretend I love getting old, love my wrinkles and smile lines, because it represents a happy life! Wrong! It sucks! Absolutely fucking the worst looking in the mirror! Wonder if in ten years People Mag will start covering the most beautiful robots? š¤ Or will they look the same, like the way people with plastic surgery do?
And Finallyā¦
I was going to write about Pete Hegseth, Tulsi, Robert Jr. Elon, Marco, Linda McMahon, Stephen Miller and Karoline Leavitt (who might be the smartest one in the bunch, sheās so quick with her nastiness, you almost have to appreciate her brain), but I won't. Itās too depressing. Itās all too much! Itās shocking how bad it really is. If you want the best source for breaking news, follow Aaron Parnas on Instagram (here) on TikTok (here) and subscribe to his Substack (here) Heās truly amazing and gives updates all day, literally no patience required.
Until next time folks!
