Went to visit my Mom. Took Amtrak. Smooth train rides are very relaxing. Listened to a podcast, scrolled and boom, I was there. My Mom lives in a memory care home. A good one. All the folks just walk around freely and have fake conversations. Some carry purses, wear coats, carry briefcases, because they’re heading out, except they're not because they have Dementia or Alzheimer’s. It’s sometimes hard to tell who is a patient and who is a visitor. The ages vary and most are mobile and in shape and are just walking around. When I got there, I stumbled upon four people standing around a desk, huddled, looking in a drawer. Staff, I thought. Nope! All patients, appearing very busy, like children playing pretend. My sister, who lives nearby and sees my mom all the time, breezes past me, practically dancing into the room, waving to everyone, calling out each of their names like she’s singing. It’s as if Maria from The Sound of Music has arrived, I can almost hear the orchestra, the violins are starting to play…
We found our mom in a different room watching… Ta-da the Hallmark Channel. My mom is the oldest patient there. She’s soooo old, but literally still makes jokes, has an incredible vocabulary, smiles, laughs, makes everyone happy and of course the occasional put downs. Yep. That's my mom, Don Rickles. But her thing now is she just completely lives in the moment. Never thinks about who she is. Why she’s there? Where’s her stuff? Where’s my Dad? Her brain just sees what’s in front of her and that’s it. She never worries about anything, ever. Kinda lucky depending on how you look at it. She knows my name, and that I’m her baby, and that’s good enough for me. But you and I are not like the folks in a memory care home and there's actually tons to think and worry about.

DRONES! What’s going on? The stories, the conspiracy theories, the confusion, the silence is so unnerving. Are they aliens? I don't know! But what I do know is that we’re already surrounded by endless strange unfamiliar looking alien-like beings, right here on Earth. Everyone spends all their time thinking about space, when according to most scientific estimates, only around 5% of the Earth’s oceans have been explored by humans, meaning the vast majority remains unknown and uncharted. Just look at some of the sea creatures (aliens) that live right here.
I mean…. If you saw any of these guys on the street, you’d swear you just saw an alien.
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS is an idiot! That’s right, I said it. He should know better than to claim rape over and over again, when the words were actually sexual abuse. He just paid for the Trump Library. ABC donating $15 million. Nice legacy. Idiot! I’ve always been kind of annoyed with him anyway. The moment he wrote a tell all about his time in the White House while his bosses (Bill & Hill were still in the White House) literally still the sitting pres and first lady, exposing some of their private moments, left a bad taste in my mouth. No one likes a tattletale. Especially me. 😖
RYAN REYNOLDS & BLAKE LIVELY are still putting out fires. Trying to get back in the public’s good graces. Today it’s Ryan letting us all know that he and Blake grew up from working class families. Yeah? And? So did most of the country and now you’re using your fame to become billionaires selling poison; Blake’s Betty Booze and Ryan’s Gin.
Here’s an idea, stop talking about how humble and “just like us” you guys are, and just be the rich stuck-up celebs that you are. It’s okay. Own it. Which reminds me of a quote…

Speaking of real, TAYLOR SWIFT, stepped off the stage from her final performance of her endless Era’s tour, hopped into a car and went and visited sick children in the hospital, rocking their worlds, giving them love and attention. She’s truly amazing! She gives and gives without taking a breath! I hope she and Travis get engaged this Christmas (if that’s what she wants) because she deserves it all! Love her kind heart!🫶
ANGELINA JOLIE said her children saw “her pain” while working together on the set of Maria. I can’t think of a worse parent than one who turns their kids against the other parent to stick it to their ex. Tragic. And all this “Oscar” buzz about her performance in Maria? Give me a break. She plays all her characters the same. There’s no acting happening, oh right, she sings in this, well then give her every award under the sun. I mean an actress who can sing… wow, never heard of such a thing. Knock knock! Who’s there? Minnie Driver, Kate Hudson, Zoey Deschanel, Selena Gomez, Riley Keough, Cynthia Erivo, Anne Hathaway, Reese Witherspoon. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Hudson, Scarlett Johansson. Should I go on? I could, it’s endless.🎤

Binged the best new show! No Good Deed! An incredible cast, Lisa Kudrow, Ray Romano, Luke Wilson, Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Matt Rogers, Linda Lavin, Poppy Liu, Anna Maria Horsford and Dennis Leary. It’s so good! It’s kind of like White Lotus, but all in one lil suburban California neighborhood. Many different nutty families and storylines, all woven into one theme. Created by Liz Feldman, who did the show Dead to Me. I believe she has another hit on her hands. Yes, it takes a couple of episodes to truly fall in love with it, but by the end, you will be! Lisa Kudrow is AMAZING! She’s funny and delivers each line in only the way she can and yet also made me cry from her honest, heartbreaking performance. You can literally feel the pain in just her facial expressions. They should give her Angelina Jolie’s “Oscar.” She is so much more worthy.
